In Berlin for the 13th time there was the Fruit Logistica Exhibition. About 63 countries from all over the world were showing there fruit and vegetables. Around 1400 Different companies, institutes etc were showing there products, not only fruit and vegetables but all kind of organizations such as Horticultural Exporters Associations, Trade and Professional Associations, Institutions, Official Representations, Press and Media, Market Research, Fruit Terminals, Quality Control, Transport Companies, Packaging- materials, Container Systems, Post Harvest Technical Systems and Products, Cooling Systems and much more.

Visiting this exhibition for the first time I was impressed by the high quality of fruit and vegetables and I am enclosing some pictures and looking to the International situation it is amazing to see what kind of varieties you can get now the day and by different countries year round supply from all kind of fruit and vegetables is possible. By high techniques and good cooling you can transport all kind of fruit and vegetables by air or by ship and if you want you can eat strawberries year round, if they are not coming from your country you can import them from Spain, from Brazil etc.

By the different climate zones in Pakistan, I think that also Pakistan can play a role in the future in to the International Fruit and Vegetables Industry.

By this wide varieties of products and information more and more Fruit Logistica is expanding to the biggest Exhibition in the world and if a country want to present there Fruit and Vegetables and more than you have to be there.

The next Fruit Logistica will be held from 2-4 February 2006.
